Instructions
For hot-brewed:
Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan over high heat.
Once water boils, remove from heat. Add tea bags and rinsed herbs. Steep 2 to 10 minutes, depending on the type of tea and your taste preference.
Remove tea bags and herbs. If desired, add 1 to 2 cups of ice to cool the tea more quickly. (This will also dilute the tea.)
Transfer to a large glass jar or pitcher.*
Sweeten if desired. Store tea in refrigerator.
For sun-brewed:
Place rinsed herbs in a large glass jar. Add tea bags.
Fill jar with at least 6 cups of cold water. Cover with a lid or a piece of fabric secured with a rubber band.
Leave in the sun about 4 hours.
Remove herbs and tea bags.
Add sweetener and dilute with more water if desired. Store tea in refrigerator.
