Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain beans in a colander.
  2. Finely chop onion. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion. Cook and stir for 3-5 minutes, until soft and transparent.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients. Cook about 10-15 minutes until very soft. Mash the beans with a fork or a potato masher until fairly smooth. Add more broth if needed for desired consistency.
