2 colanders.

Colanders are very useful, and we recommend buying at least two.

  1. Large – A stainless steel mesh colander is recommended to rinse and drain foods like pasta, rice, and beans. A metal one can double as a steamer insert, as long as it fits into your large saucepan. One with a fine mesh accommodates rinsing even tiny grains like quinoa.
