Typically, the food of choice for Halloween is candy. And lots of it! If you’re like us though, you’re always looking for a healthier option. Well, we are here to share a snack idea that is equally frightful and healthful. Beetle Guts are the treat you’ve been looking for!
To make these scary (and kind of gross-sounding, but delicious tasting) snacks, you will need only two ingredients: Dates and Almond Butter. All you have to do is halve the dates and fill them with almond butter.
To be extra creepy, you can add some “creepy crawlies” using black sprinkles. Dare your little goblins to eat Beetle Guts!
