Although true Indian cooks will roast the seeds and spices then grind them fresh, we use our Finite Foodie spices to make our own simple version of garam masala, a popular Indian blend. Feel free to tweak the ratios slightly and give it your own personal touch. We rate the cost as moderate because spices aren’t cheap. However, you should already have these in your pantry, so it might cost nothing extra to make.
Double the recipe and transfer to an empty spice jar to give it as a gift during the holidays!
